Exempt package
Excepted package is transport package intended for transportation of sealed radionuclide sources and radioactive materials; it doesn’t require the certificate of approval. The activity of radioactive materials transported in type A package must not exceed the values specified in the federal norms and rules in the field of the use of atomic energy "Safety Rules for the Transportation of Radioactive Materials" NP-053-16.
Excepted package undergoes mandatory tests for conventional transportation conditions to confirm the reliability of the design.
