Structurally, the sources are a metal substrate in the form of an aluminum alloy disk, in the center of which a uniformly deposited radionuclide 90Sr + 90Y is hermetically fixed in the surface layer. The stain can be applied both on the plate itself and on a separate aluminum substrate, which is fixed in the recess of the housing with glue. Sources should not be exposed to aggressive media and contamination of the work surface.

The source is a flat aluminum ring with a diameter of 25 mm (29 mm by special order) and a thickness of 3 mm. The active part in the source is thermally sealed between two polyimide films with a total thickness of 100 ± 10 microns. The diameter of the active part is no more than 3 mm.
