Sources are sealed capsules with a radionuclide inside. Capsules are made of titanium alloy; the beryllium window is hermetically sealed. The sources are sealed by laser welding. Strong capsules allow application of sources in a wide temperature range. All sources have excellent spectral characteristics.
Sources are certified on validated high-precision Mössbauer spectrometer with absolute velocity measurement method introduced to eliminate systematic errors. Each source is delivered with a Test Report showing its Mössbauer properties.
Sources can be used in any types of Mössbauer spectrometers for scientific research and for applied applications of nuclear gamma resonance. For more details, see Mössbauer spectroscopy and Mossbauer Effect.
