The sources meet the requirements of the Cleapps methodological center (England) and are intended for use in school experiments to study the phenomenon of radioactivity, its properties and methods of protection against it. The active part of the source is enclosed in a stainless steel capsule. The capsule cap is laser-welded into the capsule body. On request, the disc capsule can be laser-welded to the holder (rectangular stainless steel plate). The holder provides an additional platform for engraving the information requested by the client.
The capsule body has a 7 mm diameter exit window covered with a stainless steel protective mesh. The active part of the source contains a radionuclide, which is fixed in the surface layer and protected by a titanium foil 2 µm thick.
The capsule body has an exit window with a diameter of 5 mm. The active part of the source contains a radionuclide, which is fixed between two polyimide films 50 µm thick and protected by a titanium foil 10 µm thick.
The capsule body has a stainless steel exit window with a diameter of 10 mm and a thickness of 0.5 mm. The active part contains a radionuclide fixed between two polyimide films 50 μm thick.
