Boris Rogozev

We regret to inform you that Boris Ivanovich Rogozev, one of RITVERC’s founders, the ideological inspirer of our team and a talented physicist, passed away after a long illness at the age of 85 on May 3, 2024.

A graduate of the Leningrad Polytechnic University’s Faculty of Physics and Mechanics, he has come a long, fruitful path and left a bright mark on Mössbauer spectroscopy and radioisotope industry.

Being an energetic and competent organizer, he successfully led a laboratory of V. G. Khlopin Radium Institute and RITVERС for many years. Boris Rogozev will always serve as an example of tireless work and a creative approach for his colleagues.
